On Sunday, September 11, Live Arts Maryland will present two free concerts under the direction of J. Ernest Green to commemorate the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and to remember the lives lost that day.
The first is a memorial service at St. Anne’s Parish at 4 p.m. The Annapolis Chorale and Annapolis Chamber Orchestra will perform W.A. Mozart’s Requiem as part of a service of remembrance led by St. Anne’s Rector Amy Richter.
The second is a free performance at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts at 7 p.m. The Chorale will perform the Mozart Requiem along with his Ave Verum Corpus and the Chamber Orchestra will perform Samuel Barber’s “Adagio for Strings.”
Joining Live Arts Maryland for these events are sorpano Carolene Winter, mezzo Catrin Davies, tenor J Bitner and bass Brendan Cooke.
