Friday, Dec. 15 – 8 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 16 – 8 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 17 – 3 p.m.
St. Anne’s Church, Church Circle, Annapolis

The centerpiece of historic downtown Annapolis, St. Anne’s Church is the perfect place to experience Handel’s powerful and timely masterpiece live.  This set of concerts the week before Christmas is another beloved Annapolis tradition.

When J. Ernest Green conducts the Annapolis Chorale Chamber Chorus and Annapolis Chamber Orchestra, the Messiah takes on extra energy, passion and meaning.  One patron said the performance he saw felt like a rock concert!  The Friday and Saturday performances include Part I and selections from Parts II and III.   Sunday afternoon’s performance includes Part I (the “Christmas Portion”) plus a carol sing-along with J. Ernest Green.

Listen to the Hallelujah Chorus!

Four stellar guest soloists join LAM for this year’s performances, soprano Amy Cofield, mezzo soprano Kathryn Leemhuis, tenor Joseph Regan and baritone Matthew Anchel
