Onion_domes_of_Cathedral_of_the_AnnunciationThe glorious music of Eastern Europe is the focus of the Chorale’s season finale.

J. Ernest Green conducts this collection of works by some of that region’s finest composers, creating an amazing exploration of Eastern musical traditions.

Among the pieces the Chorale will perform are Alexander Gretchaninov’s  Vespers and Henryk Gorecki’s Totus tuus.  The concerts will also feature works by Western composers influenced by the Eastern European traditions, such as John Tavener’s Song for Athene.
