It’s a special Mother’s Day treat! From humble roots as royal servants to their rightful place as soloists in horn sections in some of the world’s most popular rock & roll groups, brass instruments have had a special place history for hundreds of years that continues today.
In this concert, the Washington Symphonic Brass shows you why! From works by by Mozart, Handel and Beethoven to hits you know by Chicago, Queen and Blood, Sweat & Tears – the brass roars on! Dancing is definitely OK!
Meet the players, check out their instruments and find out why they’re rock stars at 2 p.m. then get ready for some great music at 3 p.m..
Adult tickets are just $25 with NO service fees! Kids come free! (Those over 18 will need to show a valid full-time student ID.)
