A true piece of musical performance art that baritone Christopher Herbert‘s website describes as:

“WINTERIZE: An adaptation of Franz Schubert’s Winterreise, for baritone and transistor radios.”

What this means is that you’ll have the accompaniment with you while you stand with near Chris as he sings these beautiful songs.   himself said “Come […] today and I will play you a cycle of terrifying songs; t11514148795_6c927228a9_bhey have affected me more than has ever been the case with any other songs.”

This performance will start in the churchyard of St. Anne’s parish and then move to several different locations through historic Annapolis to enhance the experience.

Chris’ mesmerizing performance and your participation in it will pull you into the music in a way that a traditional concert just can’t.

Join us on February 27 as downtown Annapolis becomes our stage for these incredible pieces.

We’re thrilled to partner with Watermark for this event and welcome their experienced guide to go with us around historic Annapolis!
