It’s been shrouded in mystery since it was first performed centuries ago.  Mozart’s final work, the Requiem in d minor, was left unfinished at the time of his death but has become a favorite of audiences and performers alike.  In the deft hands of Maestro J. Ernest Green and performed by the Annapolis Chorale, Annapolis Chamber Orchestra and guest soloists, Mozart’s masterpiece is a sublime musical experience.

Joining the Chorale for these concerts are soprano Jessica Satava, mezzo soprano Catrin Davies, tenor Justin Gonzalez and bass Jeffrey Gates

Mr. Green has also chosen to perform additional pieces that are linked to the Requiem in some surprising ways that he will share with the audience:

F. Poulenc           Concerto for organ (with Larry Molinaro, soloist)
O. Gjeilo              Dark Night of the Soul
