Live on the Farm
December 8, 8 pm
at Maryland Therapeutic Riding
Live Arts Maryland and Maryland Therapeutic Riding will be pairing up this holiday season for a holiday spectacular! This festive and family friendly concert will feature Broadway star Raissa Katona Bennett, famous jazz pianist Mark Berman, J. Ernest Green, and members of the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra and Annapolis Chorale. This event is sure to be one of the most original fundraisers in the region. Your favorite holiday songs will be performed this evening in a mixture of classic and sparkling new arrangements. Plus, there is even a possibility that one of the four legged therapists will be making an appearance! We hope to see you there as Live Arts Maryland goes Live on the Farm!
Maryland Therapeutic Riding has been an award-winning, vital resource to Central Maryland for over twenty years. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for children, adults, active military and veterans with special needs by connecting humans and horses in a healing environment. Premier accredited by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International, MTR provides more than 3,000 riding hours annually, and 85% of every hour is subsidized by community support. Events like this concert and contributions will help MTR support children, adults, and the wounded warriors in our community who need it most.
